Description
The New East Platform examines the political, social, economic and cultural elements shaping the fast growing region of Eastern Europe. Through analysis and commentary, photography and events held both in London and abroad, their aim is to connect young analysts and commentators with the purpose of forging constructive discussion about the realities and prospects of Eastern Europe.
The New East Platform is currently looking for contributors who take an active interest in Eastern European affairs. The platform features commentary related to the political, cultural and economic affairs of the region and is not affiliated with any political organization.The New East Platform is concerned with ensuring that the deeply diverse region of Eastern Europe is examined by those truly acquainted with its past and present, namely individuals who either live in the region or who take an active interest in it.

The call for contributors is open to students, civil society experts, youth workers, journalists and photographers.
Benefits
All contributions will be unpaid in the beginning, but is expected to provide payment in the upcoming few months.

In order to apply if you are interested in contributing as a commentator, you should send a writing sample (1000 words maximum) and a CV to: neweasplatform@gmail.com.
