“Youth Connecting the Danube” Floating Conference

Venue: 15-17 June 2015, starts Bucharest, followed by a 2 day cruise along the Danube

Description

The ‘Initiative Group Alpbach Romania’ is an apolitical, non-governmental, non-profit, independent and humanitarian association, member of the international non-governmental organization ‘Europäisches Forum Alpbach’ (EFA) with headquarters in Vienna, Austria. IG Alpbach Romania (IGAR), member of the European Forum Alpbach, will organize as part of the Floating Conference third edition (organized by GIZ and PA3), conference on the topic of “Youth connecting the Danube”. The conference will take place from 15-17 June 2015 in Bucharest, Romania.

Eligibility

Students, young professionals, representatives of institutions, from all fields who have an interest in culture and tourism and their home country is Romania, Austria, Germany, or any other that has a connection to the Danube.

Costs

There are scholarships for the Floating conference on the ship on the Danube that cover accommodation, meals and travel to and from Bucharest. Participation in the conference on the 15 June is mandatory for those applying for a scholarship. Registration for the IGAR event and participation is free of charge. Meals will be provided for all participants.
