Description
The Impact Hub Vienna community is made up of social businesses addressing challenges both locally and globally. Their members are entrepreneurs, social investors, freelancers, advocates, campaigners, creatives, artists, consultants, coaches and more. Located in the beautiful 7th district at the heart of Vienna, they are a unique ecosystem of resources, inspiration, and collaboration opportunities that support the development of a more sustainable world.
Impact Hub Vienna is inviting all people that like to do something meaningful & interesting next to the studies or work, or whilst looking for a job to become a Host at Impact Hub Vienna.
The Deal:
- You will be hosting the Impact Hub for 1 day per week (8:30 am – 7 pm), filling the Impact Hub with your positive energy and keeping the space tidy;
- While you host you will have the chance to engage in other projects that utilize and develop your skills, e.g. organising the weekly Sexy Salad (community lunch), being a buddy for new members, co-creating our Winter celebration, supporting us with your creativity in design, writing, photography;
- During the 4 months you’ll get an intro session, regular meetings with the hosting team and additional host-specific trainings.
Eligibility
Motivated volunteers with great people skills & interest in social innovation from Austria who:
- Enjoy working with people, assisting them and supporting their ideas;
- Have an interest in social innovation, social entrepreneurship, sustainability;
- Have a hands-on approach to problem solving;
- Are empathetic & attentive to people’s needs;
- Are not afraid of doing hands-on, physical work.
