Flux is about providing cloud-based collaboration tools for architects, engineers, and contractors to exchange data and streamline complex design workflows. Flux acts as an interchange point for sharing project data such as the architectural program, schematic designs, analysis models, and material schedules. Flux is funded by DFJ, Borealis Ventures, Obvious Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, and Google Ventures,
Flux is calling on the next generation of building designers to enter student architecture competition. Aim is to improve the quality of buildings, strengthen communities, and minimize impacts on the environment. In this competition you show how to use Flux in your current school projects to exchange data between Grasshopper, Dynamo, and Excel via the web. Each registered team will submit a short (2 minutes) video explaining your innovative approach to using collaboration tools, along with relevant design files. Submissions will be judged based on creativity, simplicity, and transferability; prizes will be awarded for a variety of submission categories.
