Apply for Peace Pending Project in Kosovo

Description

Peace Pending is a project that will be funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission. It will take place from the 2nd to 8th of October 2016 (including travel days) in Kosovo.

The project will work around two main topics: The Kosovar conflict and the role of the EU and US in solving the conflict, and the current situation of minorities in Kosovo. The objective for the participants is to learn how to deal with obstacles that minorities face and how conflicts (both small and large scale) can be solved.

The goal of every participant is to use the tools of journalism to draw attention to the situation in Kosovo. May it be print, radio, photography, video or any other kind of media form – you are free to express yourself with the use of any journalistic tools known to you. You are in charge to produce your own unique piece of media with support of our team. These media pieces will be published on the internet and in various regional or national media outlets (to be confirmed).

Eligibility

Young people aged between 18- 22 coming from: Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, Latvia, Sweden and Kosovo.

Costs

There is no participation fee. However, to confirm, your participation, a deposit of EUR 30 will be requested (after you’re selected). This deposit will be returned to you in full if you have attended the full project.
