24-hour Thinkathon – Shape the Society of Tomorrow!

Do you want to shape our inclusive digital future by building on technical advancements? We’ll make sure your voice is heard! – This project is funded by the European Union

You have a unique opportunity to influence policies to achieve an inclusive digital society. Your opinion matters!

Connect with driven young people from Canada and Europe on a local and international level and share your opinions on how we can build our future society in a modern digital context! Network, develop new skills and influence topics that are important to you and the world!

Throughout six 24-hour Thinkathons in 12 different cities across Europe and Canada, online and on-site participants will work together to shape our society, building on the topics of Citizenship 4.0, Social Relations, Smart and Fast Expanding Cities, Security, Education and Entertainment & Culture in a digital setting.

Eligibility

 This challenge is open to young adults between 18-30 from Canada and Europe.

Benefits

  • Participate on-site in your city or online from other cities in Europe and Canada!

Participants have a chance of being selected to represent the project in Europe during the final Thinkathon in Frankfurt, Germany, in October 2020. Two participants of the Online Challenge have a chance to present their recommendation in either Brussels or Ottawa. The program will take care of the travel costs and accommodation.

Further prizes such as a certificate of participation, work experience with our local partners or remunerations will be awarded among the participants in recognition of their motivation and enthusiasm for the project.
