Association “PRAVNIK” together with the partner organization Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, Rule of Law Program South East Europe will be offering the International Summer School Sarajevo 2018 on “The Role of Transitional Justice In Rebuilding Human Rights and Rule of Law in Post-conflict Societies” July 17 – 28 2018, fully accredited by the University of Sarajevo (4 ECTS).

WHY:

  • To empower future decision makers to establish the Rule of Law and Human Rights system in transitional countries;
  • To widen theoretical and practical skills of participants;
  • To influence changes in transitional countries towards sustainable Rule of Law and the respect of Human Rights.

Eligibility

The program encourages applications from up to 30 graduate and Ph.D. students of law and related disciplines (under the age of 35); including a limited number of undergraduate students and young professionals from South East Europe, Europe and the US.

Costs

ISSS participation fee is 200 EUR  and it covers the accommodation, most meals and working materials. Students from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Moldova, Romania, and Serbia are eligible to apply for a participation fee reduction of 50 % (100 EUR). The participation fee is due prior to your arrival and selected participants will receive detailed information.
