Description

The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts (FMoPA) is now accepting submissions for its 10th annual “International Photography Competition.” This year’s categories include: People/Portraits, Places/Landscape/Drone, Nature/Science/Animals, Documentation/Social and Political Photojournalism, Still Life, Abstract Photography and Conceptual Photography. Winners will be selected by a jury and announced on May 1st. For each category, three winners will be selected. An overall winner will be selected from all submitted photographs.

Eligibility

This contest is open to all photographers regardless of experience and the theme is not limited to any particular style of photography so all are welcome to participate.

Benefits

Best in Competition will receive USD 1,000, be considered for public art exhibition on a billboard, be part of a group exhibition at FMoPA, and taken into consideration for a solo exhibition at FMoPA. For winning submissions in each category, First Place winners will receive goods and services valuing USD 100, be considered for public art exhibition on a billboard, and be part of a group exhibition at FMoPA. Second Place and Third Place winners will be considered for public art exhibition on a billboard and be part of a group exhibition at FMoPA. The People’s Choice winner will be part of a group exhibition at FMoPA.
