Description

The Washington Post is inviting those who are interested in working in any aspect of media production and creation to come and apply to their 2021 Internship Program. The Internship program offers eight different roles for their interns: Reporters, Visual Journalists, Multiplatform Editors, Multiplatform Producers, News and Digital Designers, Graphics Reporters and Developers, Audience producers and the role of Audio producers. Interns will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience in reporting and writing articles, copy editing, taking photographs, shooting and editing videos, creating graphics and designing on multiple platforms.

Eligibility

For this upcoming Summer 2021 Internship Program, only 11 participants will be selected. In order to apply, you must be either a College junior, senior or graduate students enrolled in a degree program with at least 1 previous professional news media job or internship experience. All work must be submitted in English. All reporting interns must have a valid driver’s license.

Benefits
