XVII International Scientific Conference for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students and Young Scientists “LOMONOSOV”, 12–15 April 2010

The main aim of the conference is to develop student, postgraduate and young scientist creative activity, to involve them into solving problems of the day in science; to maintain and develop a single scientific and educational space, to establish ties between future colleagues.
In 2010 the conference will consist of 33 sections and more than 280 subsections which reflect the main fields of modern science. The sections’ council of experts will be headed by the leading scientists of Lomonosov Moscow State University. (the list of fields can be found here)

Eligibilty
The conference is open for Students (Specialists, Bachelors or Masters), postgraduate students, applicants and young scientists from any country who are under the age of 35 — students and employees of Russian and foreign universities, postgraduates and research workers are all invited to participate in the conference.
Working languages of the conference are Russian and English.

Application procedure
Applicants need to create an account on the portal of the conference and apply for the participation by filling the application form, in which you need to present abstracts of your work (1–2 pages).

Financial matters
There is a system of fees for visas in Russia at the moment, the total sum is approximately 50 Euro (we would recommend you to choose the tourist visa). NB: If you need visa support, we should get your application until 20th of February 2010.
As for residence, this year the University will not be able to offer a sufficient quantity of free rooms for participants. There will be only 200, which will be provided to the authors of the best abstracts. All the other participants will be offered to reserve a room in some Moscow hotels.
