Description
The Youth Association from Transylvania – an NGO from Cristuru Secuiesc, Romania – is looking for 12 EVS volunteers. Activities would start in the first week of August or September 2015, lasting 9 to 12 months. Volunteers will do their activities in a fairly flexible way, depending on the activity, for about 6 hours and 5 days every week.
The proposed activities:
- Recycling and up-cycling education manager – 2 volunteers
- Support person for the local Radio station and online radio – 2 volunteers
- Support person for the local TV station and the keresztur.info news portal – 2 volunteers
- Support person for nurseries, day care centers and kindergartens – 2 volunteers
- Support person for the herbalists of the region – 2 volunteers
- Support person for the Hosting Organization – 1 volunteer
- Amateur Astronomy club manager – 1 volunteer
Eligibility
The Youth Association from Transylvania is looking for any youth aged 18 to 30 who is serious and motivated to come to a small city and support them in the development of a community with a lot of potential.
Benefits
Each volunteer will receive EUR 110 as food allowance and EUR 60 as a pocket money each month. Everything else will be managed by the hosting organization. Travel cost is also reimbursed.
