Description

The Yves Rocher Foundation is currently inviting applicants for its Women of the Earth Awards. The winners of the Women of the Earth Awards lead actions that contribute to safeguarding of the plant world and to improving the environment, while seeking the welfare of the community. Projects that were created under their leadership are as varied as their personalities.

The Women of the Earth Awards puts the strength of their struggle into light. The Women of the Earth Awards ceremony is held every year the March 8 on the occasion of the International Women’s Day.

Eligibility

  • Any woman who has the nationality of a country (France, Germany, Switzerland, Portugal, Morocco, Russia, Ukraine, Mexico, Turkey, Italy);
  • Who work every day for the environment , a non-profit structure or a structure having a business purpose with a social and environmental purposes or privately, can participate;
  • Its action must already be engaged and benefit from concrete achievements.

Award

  • Three local grants are awarded each year:
    • 1st prize EUR 10,000;
    • 2nd Prize EUR 5,000;
    • 3rd Prize EUR 3,000;
  • An additional allocation of EUR 10,000 is awarded under the International Grand Prix.
