Description

The EastWest Institute is a global think-and-do tank that devises innovative solutions to pressing security concerns and mobilizes networks of individuals, institutions and nations to implement these solutions.

EastWest Institute has annouced new contest – Nextgen Essay Competition:

“If you could do anything to make the world a safer place for my grandchildren, John, what would you do?”  This question from co-founder Ira Wallach to John Edwin Mroz, current EWI president was a beginning of EastWest Institute. Now it is time for the next young generation to answer a question in own 800 words:

IF YOU HAD THE MEANS, WHAT WOULD YOU DO TO MAKE THE WORLD A SAFER AND BETTER PLACE?

Prize

The winning essay will be presented at the Worldwide Security Conference taking place in Brussels, November 12-13. The winner will also receive a Google Nexus 7 tablet. The winning paper and the finalists will be featured on the EWI website as well.

Eligibility

Everybody under 35 and passionate about changing the world for the better can take part in the competition.
